Slow-mo Scooters

Everyone knows slow-motion makes everything look cool and this short video does the business for scooters.
Ben Searle, the film-maker, normally shoots mountainboard vids (check out his youtube channel) but recently turned his camera toward the scooter riders at his local skatepark for a change...



If you fancy some stunt scooter action, get down to the high street shop and check out the range available and put one (& some accessories, natch) on your Christmas list for Santa. Then head to Wycombe Skatepark and practise like mad! just don't snake the skaters & bmxers... lol

Nice little freestyle bmx vid... An amateur production from Mexico it just goes to show that with todays technologies anyone can make an amazing vid (with hd digital cameras, editing & post production software) at home on the laptop. But you do need to know at least one awesome rider to get something like this :)

Concrete Circus talked in a non-patronising, inspirational way about the sports, the scenes and the participants. It chronicled the ideas & adventures behind the making of 4 new ground-breaking short films, all premiered at the end.
Oooooh it was so cool... Make yourself a cuppa and check out all the individual videos below or catch the whole thing on 4od. Cheers Channel 4.

As you may have seen, the High Street Freewheelin' shop has had to close it's door.
The shop was good for the few months it was open and we thank all our customers but unfortunately a robbery put a hold on things for the time being :(
We're sorry for any inconvenience but you can still get your sk8 related goodies in the main shop...
Scooters, T's & apparel, rucksacks and more, we'll make some space for it yet! :)

Scooter fest

There's lots of scooters in our High Street shop now, come on down for a look and a try out:

We got the ever-popular Slamm 'Outbreak' (below) & Roces 'Kook', both at the low internet price of £89.95! For something more Pro we also got a Blazer Pro at £115 and the MX Park for £149.95.

And if  you (or your little ones) are not into tricks & stunts then we got some affordable bigger-wheeled models for cruising too...

Also, my current fave, the Pulse 'Slither', a drift scooter. Only 75 squids, this goofy-looking yet funner-than-fun scooter is not for dropping in on, it's for drifting sideways round corners due to it's sprung castor wheel on the back. You can also snake it back n forth to keep it going without having to put your feet on the ground! Slither & Sliiiiide it baby lol
